On the north side from Pokhara, Nepal's spectacular diversity appears at its finest the deep valleys and high mountains encircling the giant Annapurna Himal embrace a wide range of peoples and terrain, from subtropical forest to a high, dry landscape resembling with the Tibetan Plateau.   Rafting
The most excellent times for rafting are September to early December and March to early June. From early September to early October and May to June the rivers can be extremely high with monsoon run-off. Any expeditions attempted at this time require a very experienced rafting company with an intimate knowledge of the river and strong teams, as high flows are potentially the most dangerous time to be on the river. more...
 
  Jungle Safari

Chitwan needs no introduction. It is the home of 25% of the world's great one horned rhino and a substantial percent of the Royal Bengal tiger. It used to be, until as late as 1951, a hunting reserve where dignitaries were entertained. Up to 120 tigers were sometimes killed in a single hunting expedition. In 1970, Chitwan was declared a wildlife reserve and in 1973 it was designated The Royal Chitwan National Park.more...

SWAYAMBHUNATH TEMPLE: This is one of the world's most glorious Buddhist Chaityas. It is said to be 2000 years old. Painted on the four side of the spire bases are the all seeing eyes of Lord Buddha.
